
European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF)
The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) aims at a successful and sustainable blue bioeconomy. The financial framework for 2014−2020 is approximately EUR 141 million, consisting of the EU contribution (EUR 74.4 million) and the national contribution (EUR 66,5 million). The Maritime and Fisheries Fund promotes sustainable fishing and aquaculture, the common fisheries policy of the Union, increased regional employment and cohesion, the placing on the market and processing of fish products and the implementation of an integrated maritime policy.
